Mysore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Janatha Darshan which began two hours behind schedule, almost tested the patience of a number of people who had arrived from far and near to pour out their grievances with the CM.




The Janatha Darshan was scheduled at the Government Guest House here at 10 am, but began at !2 noon after the CM arrived after attending a housewarming ceremony at Netajinagar and a wedding ceremony in the city.
As soon as the CM arrived, people who were waiting right since early morning rushed towards him. Masood Ahmed (30), a differently abled person who had arrived from Gargeshwari in T Narasipura Taluk appealed to the CM for financial aid for his medical treatment as he was suffering from 75 per cent disability and had no other source of income excluding monthly pension, He also said he was suffering from kidney failure.
Vani, Nagaraj couple from Gargeshwari who were waiting for the CM since 7 am said their nine year old son was disabled and was unable to speak, They also sought financial assistance for their son.
Meanwhile, around 50 employees of TVS company from Nanjangud told the CM that the company has relieved from service over 140 workers without any reason.
Similarly, several other people present there aired their woes. When a person appealed for a government job and said he was 36, the CM smilingly said how a 36 year old man who has crossed the age limit can get the job.
Most of those present were either appealing for financial aid or college seats for their children.
V Srinivas Prasad, District in-charge Minister, Tanveer Sait, MLA, Palayya, MUDA Commissioner, PA Gopal, ZP CEO, NR Vijay, Deputy Director of Department of Women and Child Welfare and other officials were present.
