Mangalore: In what marked an end to the month long BIG MIC programme, film stars amidst others signed a pledge to protect and love the city of Mangalore. This event was organized by 92.7 BIG FM Mangalore in association with Advaith Hyundai,Kuntikan,Mangalore.

The BIG MIC programme was an outdoor activity aimed at gauging the needs of the people of this coastal city. The 92.7 BIG FM team visited several hotspots in the city and asked the audience to give their suggestions for a better Mangalore. These suggestions collected are soon to be forwarded to the DC office.Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim, City Munciple Corporation Commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde congratulated 92.7 BIG fm and appreciated the effort . They assured ,they will look into all the problems,listed out by BIG fm and they will try to rectify it as soon as possible, they said at their Republic Day message to 92.7 BIG fm listeners.

The finale of the programme was conducted at Bharath Mall wherein renowned actor Likith Shetty of Oriyardori Asal fame was the Chief Guest. He spoke to the audience about the necessity of keeping the city clean and green. He signed the pledge and wished the team good luck in their endeavors.

Actress Yajna Shetty too visited the event and signed the pledge. She stressed on the need of more such programmes, which would help in developing the city based on the people’s consensus. An avid listener of 92.7 BIG FM also came forward to sing a mix of patriotic songs.

RJ Errol, RJ Varsha, Alston Sequeira, Sachin Patil from 92.7 BIG FM and Melwyn ,Shiva Prasad, Sachin along with representatives from Advaith Hyundai were present on the occasion.
