Bantwal: Lack of will power on the part of political leaders also disinterest shown towards the language by officials have hindered the development of Kannada language in its very own land, regretted Kum. Pratiksha M, the chairperson of the Bantwal taluk at nineth children’s literary conference.








Conference was held at Panje Mangesharaya Vedike of Sri Rama Vidya Kendra Kalladka on December 31, Tuesday under the aegis of the Bantwal taluk Kannada sahitya parishat and makkala loka.
Stating that Kannada language, which has a glorious past, is now struggling, Pratiksha stressed the need for Kannadigas to strive to help the language regain its glory.
Anusha, a student of Keddalike government School and past chairperson of the conference, inaugurated the conference by offering floral tributes to the portrait of Goddess Bhuvaneshwari.
