Bantwal : The driver of a car escaped with minor injuries after his car collided head-on with a private bus  near Vagga on the BC Road-Kadur National Highway on March 23, Sunday evening.

The bus was heading towards Belthangady from BC Road while the car was proceeding on the opposite direction. It is learnt, the driver of the car  lost control over his vehicle, which crashed against an electric pole before colliding with the bus.

Two others who were travelling in the car were lucky enough to escape unhurt.
