Bangalore : Sandalwood star and sitting Mandya MP Ramya who was supposed to file her nomination from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency on March 24, Monday , has rushed to Delhi  after the party high command summoned her.

Ramya had made all arrangements to file nomination papers on Monday. She is now expected to file her nomination on March 26, Wednesday.

The actress has already kick-started her campaigning through padayatra at several places and has been asking people to vote for  her considering her as their daughter. Though this has caused resentment among opposition leaders, Ramya  had continued campaigning undeterred.

She has already assured to  engage full-fledge in politics after bidding good bye to films. But now, her sudden visit to Delhi has   giving wings to rumours. However party sources said there was no need to attach special significance to her Delhi visit and add  that she had to take part in a Youth Congress promotional advertisement.
