BSY visits city; lashes out at Congress

Mangalore: Former Karnataka CM, B. S. Yeddyurappa speaking to the reporters at the Circuit House, on Tuesday March 4, lashed out at the state government for its failure to bring development in the state.

Criticizing KPCC Chief Dr Parameshwar and CM Siddaramaiah, he said that Congress has failed to undertake any of the developmental programme  like roads and maintenance of  law and order. The Government has also  failed to uplift the backward class people, he alleged

He also highlighted some of the achievements during his regime like Suvarna Bhoomi scheme, Ganga Kalyana Yojana and Bhagyalaxmi scheme.

He firmly stated that BJP will win the Lok Sabha election and Modi will be the next prime minister for sure.

Admitting that  there was scarcity of water in Kolar and other northern parts of the state, Yeddyurappa said the 0tate government should have discussed  the pros and cons of Yettinahole project with the locals, before implementing it.

MP Nalin Kumar, BJP District  President Pratap Simha Nayak, former minister Shobha Karandlaje and many others were present at the conference.
