Mangalore : A scrap dealer  hailing from Kudroli in Mangalore has been found dead at Tannirbavi Beach on June 21, Friday evening under mysterious circumstances.

The deceased has been identified  as  Abdul Rashi (48) who worked in Central Market as scrap dealer. It is not yet known if it is a suicide or murder. A post mortem report is awaited.

It is learnt, Rashid had left home as early as 5.30 am on Friday after some unidentified man arrived at his house. He had not returned home after that.

Rashid is survived by his wife and three children. Former mayor Ashraf too visited the spot. The body of Rashid has been shifted to Wenlock for post-mortem. Panambur police are conducting investigations.
