BJP fields Umanath Kotian from Moodbidri, Ranjan Gowda from Belthangady

Bangalore : The BJP has released its second list of 37 candidates on April 14, Sunday. The party has chosen Tulu Academy Chief Umanath Kotian as its candidate from Moodbidri. In Belthangady constituency it will be Ranjan Gowda of the BJP against Vasanth Bangera of the Congress.

In Moodbidri, the BJP candidate Umanath Kotian will face the Congress candidate and sitting MLA Abhayachandra Jain.

From Belthangady, the party finally has chosen to field Ranjan Gowda  though the names of Prabhaker Bangera, Kushalappa Gowda and Pratapsinha Nayak were doing the rounds  earlier.
