Karkala : Biju Thomas, the prime accused in the case of huge cache of explosives worth crores of rupees in various parts of Karkala taluk recently,   has been remanded to judicial custody till May 17 by the Karkala court.

Biju Thomas who was arrested at Gurgaon in Haryana recently was earlier produced before the court on April 29 and was handed over to police custody till May 4. The prime accused was nabbed in operations led by Karkala ASP Annamalai.
