Madanthyar: The “ANOHEP 2014”, a PG level Commerce Fest was inaugurated at Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar on Thursday March 13.

The programme started with the invocation dance, followed by the revealing of the Winner trophies.

After traditionally lighting up the lamp Chief Guest Prof, Rajan VN said, “Education is a key to bring about change and the change implemented must be in a positive way. One should study not merely for examinations but to attain knowledge.”

“Everything in our life starts with an initiative and such fests are necessary because it gives a wide scope for learning”, he added

Addressing the gathering Principal, Prof Alex Simon Sequeira congratulated and said this event is organized by the PG students to encourage the students to showcase the unique talents they have within them which is commendable.

President, Rev Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, correspondent of Sacred Heart College said that every initiative gives a lot of happiness to oneself. Students have taken a lot of interest in “ANOHEP” particularly. We are called to bring out the best in our life and the opportunities given should be utilized fully, he added

Pavana Rai welcomed the gathering while the vote of thanks was delivered by Preethi.
