Mangalore : The Annual Feast of St Lawrence Church of Bondel in Mangalore commenced on August 2, Friday. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the celebrations.  A nine-day Novena is being held at the  Church as part of the annual Feast. The Novena began on August 1.

Hundreds of faithful had gathered to witness the inaugural of the Annual Feast. Fr Andrew D’Souza, Parish Priest of the Church. Fr Patrick Sequeira, Assistant Parish Priest,  Mahabala Marla Kavitha Sanil, Harinath, Akhila Alva, Corporators,   Rudolph Pinto, Church Vice President, Reginald D’Souza, Secretary and others were present on the occasion.
