Mangalore :To mark the 150th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, ABVP organised ‘Vivekotsava 2014’ at Town Hall today. A rally was also held from Jyothi Circle to Town Hall werein thousands of students participated with enthusiasm.

Addressing the gathering Chief Guest Dr B V Kumar, the state president of ABVP said, “Superstitions affect our society a lot. The only hope lies in the youth. Youth practising superstitions will hinder social progress .Thus our youth should follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda “,he said.

Karavali Educational Institution founder president Ganesh Rao,ABVP Secretory Ramesh K,Balakrishna and Puneet were also present during the programme.
