Kasargod : Kumble  police who are investigating into the case of  murder of Abdul Azeez alias Baliga Azeez (40) of Paivalike Bayikatte, have gathered information regarding the involvement of three persons behind the murder.

The investigations are underway under the leadership of Kumble Circle Inspector CB Thomas. It has been gathered that the murdered man was an accused in several cases. Police suspect  a previous enmity to be the cause of murder.

The Ritz car which Abdul Azeez was driving was intercepted by car bound assailants by hitting their car against it. They had then pulled out Azeez and  hacked him to death.

The assailants had then escaped in another car. Azeez’s body had as many as 23 stab injuries and his head was found separated from the rest of the body.
