Modi to visit city on Feb 18

Mangalore: At  a press meet held at the district BJP office on Tuesday January 28,   BJP leaders announced that the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit Mangalore on February 18 and address a rally at Nehru Maidan at 3 pm.

Addressing the media personnel,  BJP MLC Bhanuprakash said that the Congress has under estimated Narendra Modi who, he said can  surely become the next Prime Minister of India.

He also said that by February 5 or 6 the BJP will announce the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.

Moreover he also said that the BJP was trying its level best to apprise the people of the facts pertaining to the Congress government including the scams and weaknesses of the government. At the same time it was also enlightening them on the vision of BJP and Narendra Modi.

Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel also addressed the press meet and  blamed the Congress for the rising cases of violence in the state.The police department was unable to put a check to the same, he alleged.

President of Dakshina Kannada district unit of BJP Pratap Simha Nayak, BJP district unit General Secretary Sanjeev Matandoor, BJP state Vice President Sulochana Bhat, Divakar Samani and Satish Prabhu were present.
