Kasargod :  A total of eight candidates from different parties have filed their nominations from Kasargod for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

P Karunakeran has filed his nomination as a CPI(M) candidate, T Siddique from the Congress and K Surendran and AK Narayanan from BJP have filed their noninations. Kannan, Cherangai Aboobakker Siddique, Gangadhar Nellittala are contesting as independents while Abbas Mudalappara is the Trinamool Congress candidate.

With just 20 days left for the elections, political parties are on a hectic campaigning spree. National as well as state level leaders of various parties are likely to visit the district next week for campaigning which will gain further momentum.
