Udupi: Four boys escaped from the remand home at Doddanagudde on April 1, Monday after entering into an altercation with the security guard. Reports said they broke the window grills to escape. However, one of them was later trapped near Kadri in Mangalore the same day.

If  Gopi(17),  Ibrahim (15), Narayan(17) and Prasad(17) hailing from Rajasthan, Moodbidri, Byndoor and Hassan respectively had escaped, of them Narayan was caught in Mangalore.

All of them were arrested some time back in connection with a theft case. Search is on for the other three missing youngsters.
