Mysore :  The Mysore District Vishwakarma Mahamandala staged a protest outside the Congress office demanding a ticket for youth leader G Raghu Achar to contest from KR Constituency.

C Acharya, District President of the Mahamandala who led the protest said  the Vishwakarma community which has a population of over 35 lakhs in the state, was not given due representation.

He alleged that the governments and elected representatives have also failed to give due recognition t the community despite several requests. He demanded that the  Congress should give a ticket to Raghu Achar from KR constituency.
