Mangaluru: A total of 24 persons from the Dakshina Kannada district tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, June 6. This brings the total number of cases in the district to 175.

Of the 24 people, 17 are men, six are women and one is a small girl.

It can be noted that five of the 24 people don’t have any travel history and the source of their infection is being traced.

Eleven of the 24 who tested positive had recently returned from Maharashtra and six are Dubai returnees, one returned from Turkey and another from Saudi Arabia.
