Mangalore: Two persons belonging to a group of miscreants who had caused havoc by disrupting peace at Mogaveerapatna area in Ullal were arrested by the police on Wednesday February 5.

The incident occurred at around 1.00am in the intervening night when the miscreants went on a rampage in Ullal destroying vehicles, boats and throwing stones at houses. The houses belonging to Variga, Dharmavati and Santhavati were damaged by the miscreants.

The group of miscreants which resorted to vandalism destroyed properties including vehicles such as a car and bike. Even two boats worth were damaged.

The motive behind the disruptive activity is not yet known. Ullal police are investigating. More details are awaited. Tight security has been deployed in Ullal to prevent further trouble.
