Moodbidri : The elections  to the  post of President and Vice President of Moodbidri TMC will be held on March 13 despite the enforcement of Election Code of Conduct, following the permission granted by the Election Commission to the Government.

Ravichandra Nayak, Tahsildar will the election officer. The candidates can file their nomination on the day of elections

Two women in the fray :  Though it has been almost a year since elections to the TMC were held, the president and vice president were not elected due to a court stay order. As the TMC President’s post is reserved for general category lady candidate Supriya D Shetty of Ward 19 and  Roopa S Shetty of Ward 16 are in the race for the top post.

Another eligible  candidate is Harinakshi, who has already served as TMC President for one term and is an elected member for the third time.
