Bengaluru: With the PUC examinations kick-starting today, on March 1, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have made sure that the ‘Kingpin’ of the question paper leaks so far, Shivakumaraiah alias Guruji is behind bars, way before the examinations started.
The accused is in judicial custody at Parappana Agrahara Central prison since November 2018 after the CCB sleuths arrested him in a police constabulary recruitment examination question paper leak case.
Though he managed to come out on bail last week, the CCB arrested him again in yet another case where he had promised jobs to aspirants in government offices and then vanished with their money.
With the arrest of the ‘kingpin’ the CCB is confident that this time there will no question paper leaks during the PUC examination which will be taken by 6.73 lakh students.
Shivakumaraiah is not only involved in PU question paper leaks, but also in others like SSLC, CET, KPSC and even police constabulary recruitment examinations. He has been running this ‘thriving business’ since 2008 and was first arrested in the same year.
