Bangalore: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy D Yuvaraj, was killed when a SUV driver while reversing his vehicle ran over him while he was playing in front of his makeshift home on I cross in Jaihanumannagaar near Arekere BDA Layout, Hulimavu.
Police said Yuvaraj was ran over by the tyres of the Mahindra Scorpio driven by Diwakar, 23, a tiles laying contractor from jayanagar IX Block was arrested withing two hours of the accident that happened around 11.30 am.
Yuvaraj, son of Danasingappa, a labourer in one of the buildings under construction was staying in one of the sheds set up by the building contractors,” said a police officer.
