Rotten meat: Adi Udupi residents shut down the mutton stall

Udupi : A meat stall was shut down by Residents of Adi Udupi forced a mutton stall after they found worms in the meat purchased from the stall on July 24, Wednesday.

As many as 40 people from Malpe had purchased meat from the Bhavani Mutton Stall early morning on Wednesday on account of a Harake at the Marigudi at Kaup.  But, to their dismay they found worms in the meat and rushed to the stall to return it. On seeing hundreds of people rushing towards his shop, the stall owner fled from the place. The people also found  nearly 100 kg of rotten meat in the stall.

A case has been registered in the local police station.
