Bengaluru: The state health department started equipping the taluk hospitals to treat the COVID 19 patients.
According to the sources in the state health department, each taluk hospital will have 30 beds each exclusively for the COVID 19 patients as reports come of steep increase in the disease in the state.
According to the sources, the health department will monitor the treatment at these hospitals from Bengaluru through a dedicated health medicine monitoring system.
Meanwhile, the health department made it clear that there is no shortage of PPE kits or face masks in the state. “All the district hospitals are now provided with a huge number of protection kits to ensure that there shall not be any crisis,” said an officer.
