Bengaluru: In a shocking revelation, which is bound to leave ruling party BJP and newly appointed KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar in confusion, former chief minister Siddaramaiah has said that the turncoat MLAs, who switched over to BJP are in touch with him.

The statement comes at a crucial point in time, when there is confusion and chaos within the BJP house as a few disgruntled MLAs from northern part of Karnataka have raised dissent against BS Yediyurappa over various issues. There are also rumours that the turncoat MLAs may rejoin their former party.

“Many ministers have expressed their displeasure against CM BS Yediyurappa over his style of functioning. Yediyurappa has changed a lot now. Works of the JDS and Congress turncoats are not happening in this government,” he said.

However, Sidddaramaiah also made it clear that Congress has no plans to pull down this government.

Meanwhile, refuting all reports of rift between him and KPCC Chief DK Shivakumar, the former said that they are still friends and are working together to strengthen the party.
