Bengaluru: The state government is mulling over the idea of distributing Khadi uniforms for the school children from next academic year.
Speaking to media, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said that the government is keenly working on introducing school uniforms made out of Khadi from next academic year and will have an extensive meeting with the authorities concern over the feasibility of the same, he said.

Adding further, he said that government is firm on constructing Gandhi Bhavans at all district head quarters and foundation stone will be laid for the same on Gandhi Jayanthi this year, wherever the land has been acquired for the purpose.
