Bengaluru: Prajwal Revanna, son of PWD minister HD Revanna, who will be JD(S) party candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency created a new controversy on Tuesday by using the official car of the PWD department to launch his election campaign.

On Tuesday, Prajwal Revanna started his election campaign by visiting various parts of Hassan city. He used an SUV (KA 01, GA 8009) with the state government emblem. This car is registered in the name of the PWD department.

As the video of Prajwal Revanna using the government vehicle for his election campaign went viral, the BJP state unit tweeted the same saying this is how the Gowda family is misusing the government machinery.

“Even CM HDK is upset. The whole episode affected the reputation of the Gowda family,” said JDS sources. Prajwal Revanna yet to comment on the new controversy.
