Bangalore :  Chief Minister  Siddaramaiah was sowing the poisonous seeds of casteism  on the issue of  arranging for study tour to  school children of other backward classes and minority communities, alleged State BJP President Prahlad Joshi.

Joshi was addressing press persons after flagging off a publicity RathaYatra in the city in the wake of the visit of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to the state capital. Launching  a tirade  against the  Chief Minister, he said it was not proper to discriminate between school children.  He also urged the CM to immediately withdraw the order pertaining to the study tour.

Joshi alleged that the CM has introduced the scheme merely for vote bank politics and to appease the Ahinda category. This is against democratic values, he said.

He said after the Narendra Modi rally, the BJP would launch a state wide movement against the state government policies. He said  the BJP would also hold a protest at all district headquarters demanding study tour facilities to all students.
