
Bengaluru: A transgendered person’s decomposed body was reportedly recovered from within the K P Agrahara Police Station’s jurisdiction on Monday, March 2.
The deceased is identified as Gautam aka Ramya.
According to police sources, Ramya lived in a house near Tent Road and had a gender reassignment surgery just eight months ago.
“On Saturday, residents of the area alerted the nearest police station after they got a foul smell. The police personnel entered the house and recovered the body. It is suspected that she might have died two days ago,” the sources added.
Meanwhile, the police informed that the body has been moved to the Victoria Hospital for post mortem and that the cause and motive of her death can be ascertained only after the reports are received.
