Bengaluru: According to a study by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), it is found that, five years down the lane, it will be impossible to stay in Bengaluru.

According to the report, the Silicon city has developed by 525 per cent in the past four decades, but there is a downfall in agriculture and water resources by 78 and 79 per cent respectively. That means in the name of development, agriculture and water resources have been neglected.

Centre for Ecological Sciences, Prof T V Ramachandran has said that, it is foolish development.

He further commented that, even though we earn lakhs of rupees, we eat unhealthy food. If the same trend continues for the next five years, then people can’t dwell in Bengaluru.

He continued saying that, the government should take immediate action to stop these unpleasant developments. It should try to develop water resources.

Experts say that, the core reason for these adverse developments is (Bengaluru Development Authority) BDA. It has transformed into a real estate agency, thanks to some corrupt politicians.
