Bengaluru: Normal life was disrupted across the city following heavy showers that lashed overnight on Tuesday.

Many low lying areas of the city are waterlogged. The Okulipuram underbridge is filled with flood water disrupting the vehicle movement. In the night, the BMTC cancelled several bus services to various parts of West Bengaluru region as floodwater started flowing on the road.

Several areas including Shantinagar, Srirampura, Koramangala IV stage, Aane palya witnessed heavy flooding. Rescue teams were pressed into service to take up the relief works.

The rain is expected to continue till September 28
