Bengaluru: A techie was tied to an electric pole and thrashed by the locals for allegedly stalking a woman on West of Chord Road in Bengaluru on Friday, April 1.
The accused techie has been identified as Sri Ramamurthy, who is married and has two kids.

The incident occured when the 25-year-old woman was on her way to office. According to reports, the accused followed the woman and passed lewd comments at her.

The woman’s husband confronted the accused and indulged in a verbal spat. Immediately locals who gathered at the spot caught him, tied him to an electric pole and thrashed. However, Basaveshwaranagar police came to the spot and took the accused to the station.

However, no complaint has been registered in this regard.
