Bengaluru: The nightingale has started singing again in the Shravana Maasa. Though the Shravana Maasa comes after Ashaadha, in the month of August or thereabouts, this nightingale feels the Shravana maasa now!

According to Hindu rituals, Shravana has  special significance. The most auspicious days of this month are the Fridays and the Tuesdays. These days women wake up early in the morning to worship the Goddess, and though August is still 4 months away, the nightingale has started singing again. She has put her bad days behind her and is looking forward to the good days ahead, even as she brightens the days of so many of her fans across India and the world.
