Bengaluru: State Minister of Transport Ramalinga Reddy has decided to hold yet another round of talk with the protesting State transport employees union after the strike entered the third day on Wednesday, July 27.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Reddy expressed hope of ending the tussle between the government and agitating employees. Standing adamant in his stance like Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Reddy ruled out the demanded pay hike by the union leaders.
Meanwhile, BMTC has again ventured to run buses on certain routes amidst police security. However, several industries and educational institutions have offered free transport services for the general public in certain areas.
The meeting between minister for transport and the union leaders is expected to begin soon.
