Bangalore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has  said that the CID investigative report on KPSC irregularities would be placed before the Cabinet meeting in order to decide on the future course of action. The Chief Minister has also assured  stern legal action against anyone found guilty.

Speaking to reporters, the Chief Minister said he has no information about the  contents of the report. He said the issue would be discussed in the cabinet meeting before taking any decision.

It may be recalled here that the state government had ordered a CID probe into the alleged irregularities in the examination to the KPSC gazetted probationary posts following complaints by the affected candidates. The CM said the report was submitted to the government while he was away on a China tour.
