Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) convened the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting on Thursday, May 29.

Speaking to the reporters, KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao informed that all the MLAs have been directed to attend the meeting. “In this meeting, we will discuss the poll debacle in the state. All the MLAs will be allowed to talk in the meeting,” he said.

He also stated that soon, the KPCC office-bearers’ meeting will also be convened to discuss the strategies to strengthen the party in the state. “Our aim is to regain the lost glory,” he said.

Dinesh also made it clear that he owes moral responsibility for the party’s failure in the state. “As the president, I take the responsibility for the loss. I have sent a report to the AICC president. I will follow his decision,” he said.

On former minister Roshan Baig’s verbal attack on him, he stated that a show-cause notice has been served to him. “Once he furnishes the reply, we will initiate action,” he said.
