Bangalore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has exuded confidence that the people of the state would  reject the BJP and hold the hands of the Congress.

Addressing a function organised by the  party wherein former CM Yeddyurappa loyalists MD Lakshminarayan, HD Basavaraju, H Neelappa, Umapathi, Masala Jayanna and others joined the Congress, the Chief Minister said BJP was a party sans ideologies and alleged that the party never raised voice in favour of social justice. The people of the nation can never accept such a party, he said.

Siddaramaiah  launched a tirade against the BJP stating that the party by moving the court against reservation has proved that it was against backward classes. It would be a mirage to think that Narendra Modi would become the Prime Minister of the nation. To wish a man who is an accused in Gujarat riots to be the prime minister is itself a big tragedy, Siddaramaiah observed.

He also exuded confidence that the Congress would come out in flying colours by emerging victorious in most of the constituencies in the state.
