Bengaluru: It seems there is no end to the Income Tax woes of the major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar. If sources close to his family are to be believed, his mother Gouramma has been served notice regarding a 20 acres benami property.
According to the sources, it is the second notice. “If she fails to reply to the notice, the IT department is expected to seize the property,” said sources. Minister DKShi is yet to issue a statement in this regard.
According to the sources, the IT department seized over Rs.500 crores benami property allegedly belonging to DKShi till now. “If the NDA government continues in power, he is expected to face more problems,” added sources.
