Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) had appointed DCM Dr G Parameshwar as the in-charge for Chincholi by-election while major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar has been appointed as the in-charge for the Kundagola by-election.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the party leaders held in Bengaluru on Saturday.

DCM G Parameshwar will be assisted by Priyank Kharge, Rahim Khan, PT Parameshwar Naik and E Tukaram. DKShi will be assisted by RV Deshpande, MB Patil, MTB Nagaraj, and Shivanand Patil.
