Bangalore : The Hindu Jana Jagrithi Samithi staged a protest in front of Town Hall in the capital on January 12, Sunday  to oppose the Bangalore programme of evangelist Benny Hinn.

Chandru Mogera, Co-ordinator of the Samithi,  Shivashanker, Samseva President, S Shashikumar, Devadas, Muddkumar,  Kashyap, advocates, Poornima Prabhu, Nagamani of Sanathana Samsthe and others were present.

The protestors also burnt an effigy of Benny Hinn. There was even a mock show of the so called miracles performed by Benny Hinn on the sick people.

The protestors even blocked road for some time.
