Bengaluru: Union ministers DV Sadananda Gowda and Prahlad Joshi met prime minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah and sought early flood relief for the state.
Their meeting with both the leaders came in as the state is witnessing a series of protests against the delay in the release of the central aid to the state to take up the flood relief works.
Both the leader spent over 20 minutes with Shah and ten minutes with PM Modi. According to the sources both the leaders appraised the ground reality to Modi and Shah and requested them to announce the interim relief.
