Bangalore :Former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa warned chief minister Siddaramaiah that he will stage protest if the latter failed to extend Shaadi Bhagya scheme, financial assistance to poor Muslims marriage, to all sections of the society.

Participating in the agitation on Thursday , Yeddyurappa said, he welcomed the governments decision providing financial assistance to poor Muslims, but the chief minister should extend this scheme to unmarried women of all communities.
Yeddyurappa said when he was the CM, he had implemented novel schemes like Bhagyalakshmi to all communities, government should not discriminate among communities while implementing such schemes, he said.
