Bengaluru: Here is an opportunity for those who want to enroll their names in the voter list. The deadline for enrolling names in the voter list in Bengaluru has been extended to January 12, 2018.

After the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) published a draft electoral roll in November, it set a deadline of December 29, 2017 to submit objections.

“Since many people have sought an extension of the deadline to help more voters register, we have extended the deadline,” said BBMP Commissioner N. Manjunath Prasad.

Apart from doing it online, voters can approach their ward officers, Bangalore One offices and all BBMP offices to submit objections or include their names in the list.
