Cash for Vote: Kagodu rules out disqualification of MLAs

Bengaluru: Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa on Tuesday ruled out the possibility of disqualifying the members of Assembly, who were allegedly involved in cash for vote scam.

Speaking to media at Vidhana Soudha, he said that neither concrete evidences nor complaints have been received in this regard. Hence taking a call on this issue was difficult.

Adding further, he advised that political parties should act upon the moral conscience.

Reacting to a question on Anupama Shenoy’s controversial resignation incident he said that there is ambiquity with regard to her willingness to continue in the department.
