Bangalore : It has been reliably gathered that former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa who has recently rejoined the BJP, has sent a clear message to the party higher-ups that he would remain neutral during the ensuing Lok Sabha elections if his supporters do not get suitable positions.

It is learnt that  Yeddyurappa has appraised the high command that an attempt is being made by  BJP State President Prahlad Joshi and a few leaders  to sideline him. He has also stated that there was  no question of tolerating such things. At the same time,he has clarified that he had rejoined the BJP to help Narendra Modi become the prime minister and added he was not after any position.

Sources also revealed that Yeddyurappa has placed forth demands that his supporters should be given strategic posts like senior vice president, general secretary and secretary, on the basis of seniority. Future developments are curiously awaited.
