Skeletal remains of missing auto driver found in forest

Kasargod : The skeletal remains of an autorickshaw driver who was missing since four months, has been found in a forest area at Madwa near Varkady on February 2, Sunday.

The deceased is Sharath (24) who hailed from Madwa in Varkady  Kodlamagaru. His father   Padmanabha Manjeshwar had lodged a complaint of missing  with Manjeshwar police four months ago.

The skeletal remains were noticed by some workers who had entered the forest area to  fell trees. The Manjeshwar police were immediately informed. The police who rushed to the spot found a mobile phone, purse, photo and some clothes. The body was identified on the basis of the things found nearby.

The suspicion is  that  the man had committed suicide by  hanging himself. The skeletal remains have been shifted to Periyaram Medical College Hospital.
