Bengaluru: The Cottonpet Police arrested three persons, including a woman, who are accused of pushing job aspirants into prostitution.
The accused have been identified as Manjunath (33) of Tumakuru, Raghavendra (30) of Davanagere District, and Archana (37), a resident of Nagashettihalli in Sanjaynagar.
According to police, four women were rescued during the operation.
According to sources, Archana, one of the accused, ran a nursing centre in Sanjaynagar. They stated that several of the centre’s nursing students were lured into prostitution by the accused.
The police raided Gandharva Deluxe Lodge on KV Temple Street, Balepet, under Cottonpet Police Station after receiving a tip-off.
