Bangalore: The upcoming BJP rally that will see BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Sunday November 17 has created adverse hype in the city.
According to the BJP officials, around three lac people have bought tickets to watch Narendra Modi at a rally in Bangalore. Although the tickets have not restricted the entry for the rally yet people have bought tickets worth Rs 10.
It is also speculated that more than 20crores has been spent alone on the Bangalore rally. The rally which is scheduled on Sunday November 17, from 11am onwards will be organized at the Palace Grounds.
Even though the BJP officials deny, an elaborate puja was held at the same ground few days ago involving at least a dozen of pundits and state leader.
Sources also reveal that the venue of the rally is being personally monitored by prominent people. The event set to be an extravaganza with six different counters of vegetarian food and other faculties will be provided for the gathering.
Moreover as Narendra Modi is famous for his controversial vocalizations, the BJP party managers are preparing a brief that will give Modi enough talking points on issues.
Earlier Modi had visited Bangalore on April 28 to address an assembly election-related public meeting where he had confined his speech to criticizing the UPA government. Thus their aim this time is to prevent any error of judgment done by Modi, as advisers in Karnataka he must not make any historical references.
The advisors said, “We don’t think Modi would like to touch upon history in Bangalore as he may take on the UPA government.”
The Sunday’s rally will mark the beginning of the BJP’s poll campaign for the Lok Sabha. It was also brought to notice that the shortlisted Lok Sabha candidates will be discovered in a soon.
