Bengaluru: The discussion on banning outfits like SDPI and PFI will be taken on August 20, during the Cabinet meeting, said Forest Minister Anand Singh.

Speaking to reporters, Singh said that he condemns the violent episode that took place in DJ Halli and KG Halli.

“The probe is on and the truth behind this violence will be out soon. I hope such a thing never happens to anybody,” he said.

The Bengaluru riots that broke out after a communally charged post by relative of ML Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy has left four persons dead and many injured.

After the incident, the suspicion pin points at SDPI and the demand to ban the outfit along with PFI has gained momentum.
