Bengaluru: Out of 277 vehicles burnt in the fire mishap reported from the Air Show parking lot number 5 on February 23 noon, the owners of 60 vehicles are yet to be traced.

Speaking to the reporters after handing over the insurance amount cheques to few of the car owners in the city, Home Minister MB Patil informed that a total number of 277 vehicles were destroyed in the fire mishap and owners of the 60 vehicles are yet to be traced.

He handed over cheques to 10 vehicle owners on the occasion. “We are doing our best to ensure all the owners get the insurance amount at the earliest. Special arrangements have been made to process the applications,” he stated.

He also assured financial support for the yellow number plate owners under any of the relief schemes as many lost livelihood.
